PE-Backed CFO Public-Peer Stand-In Workbook
Your own pay and a public peer set go in. Out comes a cash position against those peers, plus a side-by-side equity record, with every output labelled as a stand-in. You map your PE-backed company to public peers by revenue band, sector and region. You then enter Summary Compensation Table rows for each peer's CFO or principal financial officer, as filed in DEF 14A proxy statements, with a citation for each. The workbook shows the share of peers at or below your base, cash bonus and total cash. It holds back any equity position where your units, values or profits interests are not comparable to SCT grant-date values, and it never values your equity. The workbook contains no PE-backed CFO pay data and no survey figures. Every number in it is either your own or an as-filed peer figure you enter and cite.
